Had one of the most amazing Good Works ASAP projects ever the other night. Scenario: Mother bird built a nest right above our side garage door, using the pet door to get in & out. The other day there were 3 tiny sparrows darting around in our garage, barely able to fly...mama not in sight for at least a day. Pretty soon only 2 chirping at each other...garage door, side door both open, but they were not brave enough to fly out. Night before last they were perched on the track of the garage door & it was time to go to bed...one flew to the back of the garage...had to pick the other one up in a work glove & place it on one of the cabinets. This one would not come off the glove, so it stayed perched under the glove all night long...finally able to close the garage door. Next morning...garage all opened up again. Dave caught one & put it outside in the wooded area, (discovered later it must have finally flew off). The last one finally perched on the work bench so I blocked its way back into the garage & it flew out...thank the Lord...finally a bird free garage!!!
