Had some fun with Fin this am and learnt a few things too! Have been doing a lot of backing up in the stable so I can win the biting game and wow his backup on the 22ft today was all phase 1 with a nice attitude - none of this is isolated is it? But his send & squeeze was broken so broke that down and reconstructed & I discovered my energy had been too high! He then let me get on (boy have I lost fitness as had to haul myself up :-( ) his walk was so much better, more rhythm and regularity holding his head a bit lower & not trying to unbalance me. His trot however was hideous, everything his walk was. Stop start to unbalance me which he succeeded in doing but a few rounds of the thunk thunk game made his transitions a bit better! His girlfriend then went out to the field -so his trot picked up down the long side chasing Pepsi in the process then when he caught up with him he tossed himself about and jumped on Pepsis back!!! My seat must be improving cos i didnt budge in the saddle :-D
