Had some people at work complaining about how they dont get paid enough to go that extra mile, to do those jobs no one else wants to do. I got to thinking about this, and then began counseling. We have to ask ourselves honestly, Who do you work for? Many will say, well I work for myself, or I work for my boss. The truth of the matter is we all work for God, unto God. I encourage the reader, do not fall into this mindset, attitude, and trap. When you know who you really work for, you are then willing to go that extra mile, doing your best, demonstrating a spirit of excellence. When it is God that you work for & unto, you no longer worry if man will acknowledge you. You are no longer concerned with the classic thank you. Because by your faith, you know deep inside, you have done the very best you can and it was for God more than anyone or anything else. If you want the qualifying pay for your position or even another position, do the work now. Dont wait for the paycheck to reflect the value of your work before you decide to work with that value. Do it now. Show those who are in authority over you that you are willing to go that extra mile & do those jobs no one else wants to do. I tell you as a witness of & for God, God sees all. God will not let your works go unnoticed or unappreciated. Show the people now what you can do, and do it all unto God. At the end of every work day, your boss is not there. It is just you & God. Since it is God you will kneel before and are held accountable to, do your very best now.
