Had something irritating in my eye. My first thought was that a micro miniaturized battle fleet from a sub-atomic quantum galaxy had passed through a time portal, pursuing the last vestiges of a dark-matter mirror universe empire, in order to destroy the last threat to their power base, and had accidentally entered the soft tissue of my eye where their photonic engine generators had failed and they were blasting the surrounding tissue with expanding neutron pulses hoping the percussive force would push them back into the time portal, to continue their quest. It turned out to be an eyelash. An easy mistake to make.
