Had the best idea for a movie the other night. It was called “Potato: A Love Story” and starred Ryan Gosling, a man who falls instantly in love with a cute, quirky potato called Anna in his local greengrocers. He returns to the shop regularly to converse with “Anna” (who has a voice only he can hear) until…someone buys her among a 200g bag of ordinary potatoes. A desperate man, he manages to track down the customer to get her back. Imagine his horror when looking through the man’s kitchen window he sees a saucepan full of boiling water, butter, salt and…*dramatic chord* A MASHER. He smashes the kitchen window in an attempt to stop the carnage, but too late. He falls to his knees and screams her name a lot like Leonardo Di Caprio does in Romeo and Juliet. Anyway, the sequel will be called “Potato 2” where he goes on a revenge mission to kill the man who turned the love of his life into mash.
