Had this sacrifice while reflecting on how, without the knowledge of truth as the scale of discernment, false scales are used and discernment is then subjective (to self) rather than objective (to truth). discernment is then according to how you feel, as in That does sit right with me or I have a catch in my spirit about that It makes me uncomfortable so it must be wrong But scripture tells as that truth comes as lashes of fire against the lie and that Christ (Truth) is a consuming fire. When truth challenges the false perspective (that which may be true but not true to Christ) it may well be very uncomfortable but fear is not of God. Soul food makes faith healthy by ridding faith of the bacteria that brings forth carnal discernment (gut feelings)
