Had to change my work email. Many of my contacts received an email that said it was from me but contained a link to a website selling some weightloss product. One customer sent me a copy of the email and out of curiosity I, stupidly, clicked the link to see what they were selling. THis morning I got a call from my Capital One fraud protection asking me if I bought Pure Gardenia product online for $49.53. NO I did not! How did they get my credit card info from me clicking that link????????? This is scary and now I have a new credit card number and have to change all my auto pays, etc..... This is using a lot of my time this week to change email and now cc!!! Hope this doesnt happen to you. I have no idea how I was compromised other than through Linkedin. I got emails all the time telling me to log into my Yahoo account or provide the info but never did.
