Had to go all math teacher on the math challenged cashier at Home Depot. My total was $15.12. I gave her a $20 then felt my pocket and I had a quarter. I quickly added the quarter before she opened the drawer. Well it was too late, she already punched in $20. She tried to give me the quarter back, then she sat it down. And started counting up change. I picked up my quarter and that is when teacher Jay had to do a quick mini lesson on how to count change. She kept saying she would have to get a manager to punch it in correctly. Then the cashier proceeds to say. Why are all you customers so angry today? I had to bite my tongue when the thought, why are all you cashiers so dumb came to mind. Common sense and basic number sense is dead and gone. I got my $5.13 not $4.88.
