Had to pick up at client at Hobby and I got there early. I saw a regulatory inspector and I asked him the following. Are you ticketing the Illegal Uber drivers who are driving commercially without licenses? He responded they are hard yo catch. I then said, I can catch one in 6 minutes cuz my app says one is 6 min away. Are you willing to do that? His response was its all political!! I then told him that if he asked me for my paperwork and I didnt have it I would get a ticket and have to go to court right? Yes. So what your telling me is if I dont pay for my licenses and I pick up my client then Im safe? No response! Blank look. I am legal and I pay for my license and regulations so in essence Im subject to tickets? What is wrong with this picture? The mayor has her hand in the cookie jar and is being paid by Uber to let them operate illegally! Who do you think paid for her trip to California and her wedding? Uber of course. The most crooked Mayor weve ever had!!
