Had to post this feel good story of the night! Dogs are simply amazing! Driving home tonight around 11pm in the 40 degree rain. We are 4 blocks from my house, and suddenly see two pit bulls running side by side each other towards the car. One had on a collar, and the other (a puppy) did not. Of course we had to stop to try to capture them! The one with the collar runs away from the car in the opposite direction, and the puppy comes right up to Keith and jumps into the car. So we decide to get back in the car, and follow the other dog. We follow him another few blocks down towards a dead end street; he keeps running from the car. Then the dog runs into a yard. As we pull into the driveway to try and corner him, we see him run into an outside caged pen. Was it coincidence that there was an open dog pen in this yard or was this his house? We knock on the door to ask the homeowner if they own two pit bulls. Sure enough, they had just escaped, and their daughter was out looking for them! This smart dog brought us all the way back to where he lived so we could return him and his puppy sibling back to safety! Had to share- I was so amazed by how smart this dog was!
