Had to share this! I sat on a homeless task force for about twelve years. It was frustrating and rewarding to get the services to help people down on their luck. One of our members, Jean Cannon, had a picnic in the park on Sunday. It was the only day the food kitchen didnt serve meals and her event allowed them to receive other items they might need. It was truly amazing to see, it was more like a huge pot luck. This video brings it all home on how, with better human services, we could keep this from happening.
