Had to share this: St. Jamess Hospital has informed me that they will not accept my previous verification of service from my previous employer, Tallaght Hospital, Beaumont Hospital or any other Irish hospital because they may have made a mistake. Consequently I will be placed on SHO 1 until I get verification from both hospitals worked in New Zealand and the UK directly. I did this years ago. I sent my CV three times to Jamess detailing my time spent as a reg and the consequent salary scale I should be on (with verification from Tallaght), and was told to expect a reply each time, but as is typical, none was forthcoming. I am now told this when I ring for a fourth time the day before the payroll is done. Absolute red tape for the sake of red tape.
