Had to share this conversation between a Millwall fan (about 18, might as well have been Jay from Inbetweeners), talking to his mate in front of me on the bus this morning. Guy 1: You know when we played Bradford and we lost 4-0? Guy 2: Yeah 1: Well they made that game a late kick-off, to give fans a chance to get to the game, as it takes ages to get to Bradford 2: Oh right 1: Well we are playing Brentford on March but I wanna go. 2: Why dont you go? 1: Well basically Bradford and Brentford are right next door to each other and are like the same club. Although for some reason theyve brought the game forward to 1 oclock. So now if I want to go, Ill have to leave at like 1am in the morning and Ill be shattered. Although I want to go because its a game we can really win. 2: Oh right 1: I went to Man United a few seasons back and it took me 16 hours, I was shattered after that. So not sure whether Ill go Im almost 100% certain this guy has never been to a football match in his life, couldnt believe the stuff he was coming out with, trying to impress his mate. Didnt want to interrupt because I was too busy pissing myself laughing.
