Had to share this letter: Hello Captain Stacey, My name is Melissa Baber, I live in South Carolina and am only 17 years old. I have never been on an airplane before, but my boyfriend, who is in the Army, is about to deploy to Afghanistan and he is doing training in Texas. Well, instead of driving, he said that the only way I could see him before he leaves was to fly down there. I cried for days because my biggest fear is flying. I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t know what to do and I wouldn’t know anyone on the plane! It was extremely terrifying for me because I’ve never traveled alone or on a plane. I started doing some research and found your website. I can not thank you enough for all that you’ve done. Now that I know about how the plane works, that the flight attendants are kind and not scary, that they also know how to treat you if you have a panic attack and that I can meet the pilots I am more excited than ever to fly! This not only gives me the chance to see my boyfriend one last time for a year, but I can also visit my dads side of the family across the country for the first time! I honestly can not thank you enough. Your website made me laugh and breath a sigh of relief.
