Had to turn away a client who had lice last week. She had installed a full Sew In with Closure. Unfortunately she did not come to me for routine maintenance and and thought it was a normal itch, until 2 lice fell from her closure. Please know the difference. LICE 1. lice itch hurts like biting/stinging itch 2. you will only see white oval eggs on the strands of hair 1/4 away from your scalp, not below that nor on the ends or the scalp 3. you can not remove white looking eggs with your finger, it will seem as they are glued to your hair strand. will not come off with regular shampoo DRY SCALP/DANDRUFF 1. Itch does not feel like biting and will have large flakes or tiny flat white flakes 2. flakes will appear at top, middle or bottom of hair strands and/ or on scalp 3. can be brushed or combed out or when scratched. also if you wash your hair If you fell you may have lice make an appt at your DR office, this condition CAN NOT be treated at a salon it is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS!!
