Haha I have this awesome idea in my head to make a true rock/metal opera movie.. In my head I can picture Devin Townsend playing a mad scientist as one of the characters in this huge goth like technologically advanced castle and his creation would of course be the band Gwar (R.I.P. Dave) that Devin would try and control! I can picture the film having many styles from rusty victorian to kind of a biomech-sci fi look through-out the film. Different areas of this kingdom/land would have their own style in the film and would house different characters based on that style! For instance the Forrest savages I would of course fill with nothing but Black Metal legends and there would be the Viking metal barbarian group on the other side of the land that lived closer to the mountains and blood filled Fjords.. I have this image in my head of those two groups fighting for control of both.. Abbath (Immortal) goes head to head with Johan Hegg (Amon Amarth) in one scene. Meanwhile in the skies above there would be these epic floating lands made of pure steel that are inhabited by Power Metal legends haha there would be the wealthy sky folk who would be pure power metal and the not so fortunate who would live lower (Heavy Metal) who are hardened and mainly the warriors the Sky people send down to fight, Manowar would always be in front on their flying motorcycles and assless chaps. Marco Hietala (Tarot,Nightwish) would play the Odin-like god character along with his queen Simone Simmons (Epica) in the highest reaches of the sky. But there is a twist that a former sky queen turned barbarian would reach the sky city to kill off Marco from some revenge plot that would be added and this person would be Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy) but she would have to figure out how to get passed his security..John Petrucci There would be of course bounty hunters in the form of Guitar Shredders that would be introduced Zakk Wylde, Jeff Loomis, Michael Romeo and the very conceited and drunk Yngwie Malmsteen. These Guitarists would be in constant struggle against the Biker gangs of this movie, Motorhead, Judas Priest, who were out to take the bounties for themselves and gain notoriety and reputation. I think the main plot would be this epic/brutal rune that all the groups would be after, this rune has the power to summon the great and powerful legends of past to fight for them.. it would summon a supergroup/band in the form of Dio, Chuck Schuldiner, Cliff Burton, Clive Burr, Jeff Hanneman, and Dimebag Darrell... YES THREE GUITARISTS AND THEY ARE MORE POWERFUL THEN EVER! and screw it I am bringing back Freddy Mercury,Randy Rhodes, Bon Scott and Keith Moon .. There are several other characters to add.. but.... maybe I am drunk right now..somebody else can write the script.
