Hahaha. This reminds me of the time I was installing the chimney cap on our 2 story house. The roof is sloped 12 on 12, so its impossible to just crawl up it. I had to throw a rope over the house and tie it to a tree on the other side. Using the rope, I then climbed up to the ridge and shimmied along it to the chimney, then used another rope to haul up the chimney cap, and a third rope to haul up the drill and screws. Needless to say, the chimney cap didnt fit and I had to haul up a lever to work it into place. It took a good long while, much of which I was hanging 2 feet beyond the eave trying to get sufficient leverage to get the dang thing on and get the proper angle to drill the 3 inch screws through the sheet metal and siding and into the frame Now I dont do heights well at all, and like the gal in the video I was scared. And when Im scared, words that shouldnt be mentioned in public just kind of slip out. We had a rule in the house that if anyone said a bad word, he or she owed a quarter to whoever heard the bad word. So I tried to control mouth. I really tried. Connor was about 8 at the time, and he was on the ground, feeding stuff to me via the ropes. Finally, I completed the task and hollered down for Connor to get ready to receive the tools via the rope. He calls back up: Are you finished, Dad? Yep. Aww. Cant you find any more work to do up there? Nope. Im coming down. OK, Dad, you owe me nine bucks! That mercenary little so-and-so...
