Hail and Greetings, Most of you know about Cherry Hill Seminary, and many of you know that I am the Chair of the Pastoral Counseling and Chaplaincy Department. Rev. Judy Harrow brought me on board as an Adjunct Professor in 2003 and I have had the honor and privilege to be a part of the growth and evolution of this great institution. CHS has made, and continues to make a significant difference for our faith community through highest quality degree and certificate educational programs. This in turn has had a profound impact on how our faith community is perceived and received in the academic and interfaith communities. Last April, CHS and the University of South Carolina co-hosted a Symposium on Sacred Lands and Spiritual Landscapes, with Professor Ronald Hutton as the keynote presenter. Shortly after the Symposium concluded, an anonymous donor came forward and made a most generous offer to seed a Scholarship Endowment and will match dollar-for-dollar every donation and pledge that CHS up to $10,000 during the month of June. The Sacred Well Congregation has contributed to Scholarship Endowment, and Willow and I have made a personal contribution as well. We are almost half-way there and we have 15 days to go.
