Hailing from Brisbane, the entity that is DARKC3LL have been a rising name in the local scene these last few years, their brooding style of industrial-tinged groove metal combined with their sinister appearance recalls the likes of Rob Zombie, Murderdolls and Marilyn Manson rolled into one. What DARKC3LL deliver is a sound that is none too original, but its executed with enough gusto to impress those who helped hone the genre itself. Last year saw the release of the bands debut album Reboot: Repeat, packed with mammoth hooks and a fierceness that translates to the stage flawlessly. Theyve shared stages with the likes of Wednesday 13, Otep, and Combichrist, and theyve only guaranteed that 2014 will continue to see them spread their hate to the masses.
