Hair today...Gone Tomorrow Hair we are...oops, sorry here we are with two hairy tales of survival and joy. So much has happened that we havent been able to tell you EVERYTHING! Interestingly, whilst Snap and I were being rescued by our police escort coming into St George we learned that one of their police constables, Isiah had just completed chemotherapy for a blood cancer. He was very happy to drop in and be photographed for the LR4L cause. His hair was just starting to grow back after his treatment and he was definitely full of the joy of life and very grateful for the Leukaemia Foundation services. Great to meet you Isiah!! Now General Gibson has been sporting such a ridiculous quiff that Im surprised he wasnt arrested by the thought -police for such a wild mane of crazy hair. Have you noticed he hasnt been photographed without his hat?? Well it seemed a suitable location today at the historic Nindigully Pub (established 1864) to deforest him, and it was done with such glee by Mrs Scissorhands. A hairy tale indeed. Weve enjoyed two days at Nindigully with just as enthusiastic hospitality and generosity from the patrons as the ferocious downpours experienced overnight. Will we get out of this quagmire alive?? Tomorrow we leave her bound for the little town of Thallan and another great pub, by all accounts, then Wednesday we bid farewell to our time in Queensland the home of the Big Banana and the big hearts. I know we bang on a lot about why we are raising money, but its my job to do so, and you would be disappointed if I didnt harangue you at least once a week to make a donation. So go on...get it done and over with to shut me up: my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/personalPage.aspx?Referrer=direct%2fnone&RegistrationID=529969
