HajiAli (#83, MM Road, adjacent to Rahhams, Frazer Town) – HajiAli, one of Mumbai’s oldest joints, renowned for its sandwiches and desserts, is catering to some of the much needed kind of desserts in Bangalore. Famous for their Faloodas and Fruit Creams, HajiAli has on offering some of the top notch quality desserts which were never before available in Bangalore. An extremely bright ambience with posters of different fruit creams and milkshakes on one of the walls and a fancy screen displaying the specialties of the day, this place has just about the more than average ambience. They are open till around 12:30AM on weekends and probably close a little earlier on weekdays. Chandi Chowk in old Delhi serves the ‘baap’ of all Faloodas. Though the Falooda at HajiAli does not match up to the ones available in Chandi Chowk, they are certainly close to what is being offered at Delhi. Large in quantity and exceptional quality wise, it has to be the best Falooda in Bangalore. They offer around 6-8 types of Falooda. Other than the Faloodas, HajiAli is famous for its fruit creams which are super rich and flavoured extremely well. Their Dry Fruit Creams and their Fruit Creams are wonderfully made. HajiAli is immensely famous for its grilled sandwiches in Mumbai. At Bangalore, they have certainly lived up to those standards and serve some of the best grilled sandwiches our city has ever seen.
