Haley is looking for a foster home/rescue group or forever home to rescue her from the streets of Dallas! Please email [email protected] if you can help. On 12/30, we saw this poor dog looking for food in the middle of the street. When we went back to check on her, we found that she appeared to be nursing and had an injured hind leg. She trotted right up to us wagging her tail and ate the food we gave her and is super sweet. We didnt see the puppies and it was unclear if Haley was a stray or owned dog. On 12/31/14, we went back to look for Haley but did not find her. We were worried we were too late. We came across a neighbor who knew exactly who she was…”She doesn’t belong to anybody”. When we asked him about the puppies, he mentioned they are probably under a shed that he pointed out to us. The shed was on a neighboring property. We knocked on the door and a nice elderly lady answered. As we asked about “Haley”, she told us she had her taken her inside her home for the first time because it was so cold outside. She invited us in and sure enough, there was Haley, lounging in her living room with 4 cats!! Unfortunately, this kind lady is not able to care for her or keep her inside for long periods (and doesnt have a fenced yard). Haley needs medical attention and as you can see, she has an old injury on her back right leg. She told us that Haley is homeless and the last time she saw her puppies was 2 days ago. We don’t know if they were stolen or picked up by animal services (we have an email in to the shelter). Were sorry we were too late for the puppies but hope that we can manage to save sweet Haley. Could you please open your home and your heart to this sweet sweet girl? She desperately needs a foster, a hero. If you can foster, please visit: duckteam6.org/foster-application If you are a rescue and can take her in, please email [email protected]. Duck Team 6 will pledge $200 towards her basic vet care needs. Once examined, we can provide additional financial assistance to support care needed for her injury. Please share, thanks! https://youtube/watch?v=qErtvrXxoPA
