Haleys new 1:1 nurse doesnt start until tomorrow. The school nurse called out sick. They cant find a substitute. Since MA law only allows for a nurse to administer diastat at school Haley cannot attend school without one on the premises. Since there isnt one today our choices are for me to spend the day here or Haley not able to come. I am grateful that our district sees, and continues to see the need for a 1:1 nurse. Wish things today had worked out differently. I have a to do list a mile long! But in the scheme of things this is a small one. Just really wish I had brought coffee and a book.
