Half term fun the West View way THERE’S lots of fun on offer for young people in Hartlepool over next week’s half-term holidays. The West View Project – a not-for-profit organisation based in Miers Avenue which runs activities for young people in the town – is holding three days of events: Tuesday 28th October - Girls Only Day, for ages 5-11, including Halloween-themed arts and crafts and cooking skills sessions. Wednesday 29th October - Forest Adventure Day for boys and girls aged 8-11 in the West View Project’s Hansard Plantation in Wynyard Forest (transport provided). Thursday 30th October - Boys Only Day, for ages 5-11, including Halloween-themed arts and crafts and cooking skills sessions. Each day runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm and costs £1 per person. Places must be booked in advance by calling the West View Project on 01429 272699. Rebecca Ferguson, West View Project Senior Participation Worker, said: “We’re looking forward to some great activities, so there’s no chance of children being bored over half-term, and it’s an opportunity for them to make some new friends into the bargain.”
