Half term is here! Do you like art? We have a fab arts and craft workshop on offer and we would LOVE you to take part in our BIG DRAW event! MAKE DO AND MEND – ARTS & CRAFT WORKSHOP WED 29 OCTOBER 1PM – 3PM Join artist Linnie Slaughter for a craft workshop inspired by the 1940s and discover how to turn scraps into skirts, scarves and toys. There will be afternoon tea and cream cakes available to purchase and vintage games to enjoy on this afternoon. Suitable for all ages 7+ £3.00 per person THE BIG DRAW – DARTFORD DISCOVERED SAT 1 NOVEMBER 10AM ONWARDS We are inviting the residents of Dartford, past and present, to discover their local history and share their childhood memories from the 1940s to today, through art. This years Big Draw theme, Its Our World, is a celebration of the environment - of urban and rural landscapes. Dartford Discovered will explore the changing shape of the landscape, of family experiences, school memories, hopes and ambitions through the sharing of stories and memories by inviting people to participate in art workshops and together create a community canvas that will be displayed in the theatre.
