Halftime Howie responds to the Ron wood situation-like many others I was very excited to have Ron wood come on the show Sunday and talk about his history in Long Beach.Over the past few weeks I had many very nice phone conversations with Ron and was very excited about him coming on the show on Sunday.I noticed a friend from facebook posted a comment about Ron coming on the show on Friday mourning and my response was, ROn has great history in Long Beach, is a great public relations guy and a great guy period.Thats why I was totally shocked and frankly feeling very much betrayed when Ron sent me a very nasty message threatening to walk off the show if i mention him in connection to the Long Beach Medical Center which was absurd because all i said to Ron was that i was going to mention that he was born at the Long Beach Medical Center and after that i simply did not feel comfortable having him on the show after that exchange. I am deeply sorry that many people were looking forward to hearing from Ron but if you put yourself in my position you would probably of made the same decision.
