Halfway into our journey we found a skinny and sad-looking sheep that was stranded at the bottom of a steep cliff. It had clearly come down looking for grass but had not been able to get back up again. Seb wanted to rescue it immediately, but we decided to keep paddling and come back to see if it was still struggling. Sure enough, when we returned the sheep was still there. Angus managed to negotiate incoming waves and the cliff face well enough for Angus to catch the sheep and manoeuvre it onto our kayak and into Seb’s arms. Seb could not believe what was happening and held on to the seemingly delighted sheep with all his might! After ten minutes of paddling we reached a safe beach where the girl could be set free. After disembarking she sat down on her hind legs and started munching on a piece of seaweed. Poor sheep. [The video shows the sheep being rescued by kayak]
