Hallelujah! Praise the Lord. This is New Creation Channels. As we continue examining our Blessedness in Christ, we want to share Forgiveness of sin. This is a very important blessing we have in Christ. The understanding of this holds the key to our victorious living in this life. At the root of most our troubles and struggles today is condemnation. Like the woman who was bent over for 38 years before her encounter with the Master, we have been bent over by this burden of condemnation. We are unable to look into the eye of our Father God for this. Its illogical for us to accept that God has forgiven our sins and forgotten them. He said “their unrighteousness “He will not remember again. If you are a child of God, know it for sure that God does not hold your sins against you any longer. He has judged them in His Son when He hung on the tree. You say “but I still see myself sin from time to time”. Yes, it is a fact. But let me ask you, do you think God doesn’t know that behaviourally that you are far from perfection? His forgiveness does not depend on anything you have done but totally dependent on what His Son has done for you which became real when you placed your faith in Jesus Christ. I understand you desire to live out a Godly life. In fact, that is one thing the Holy Spirit in you stirs in your heart to do. However, as long as you have not closed your eyes to anything else and accept what God has declared about you; the struggle continues. God didn’t say you are not going to make mistakes again or even sin knowingly again (though He doesn’t desire it for you) but He has forgiven you. Open your heart to this love and the strength to walk over sin will be a reality in your life. You know that the best way to get a child who is not doing well to begin to do well is not to tell him or her how much of a foolish and useless person he/she is ; but to continually assert confidence and tell the child that he/she is the best. God knows us in and out but has decided by himself to forgive those who place their faith in His Son. He has forgiven you. Awake to this Righteousness and you will see yourself walk over sin with a greater ease. Dwell in your sins and failures and you will keep bound by them and helpless about them. It is the Devil that is telling you how much a failure you are so as to keep you focused on yourself and fail the more. God NEVER condemns His child. Arise, child of God and look at yourself and say “I have been forgiven my sins. Tell it to yourself everyday. You will see transformation in your daily walk. Amen.
