Halliburton pleads guilty to destroying evidence after Deepwater Horizon disaster by Xeni Jardin | BoingBoing The Department of Justice announced late Thursday that Halliburton Energy Services has accepted criminal responsibility and will plead guilty to destroying evidence related to the Deepwater Horizon disaster. Halliburton was charged with one count of destroying evidence relating to whether or not the 2010 well blowout in the Gulf of Mexico was preventable.
