Halloween : TREAT !!!!!! ATTACK THE BLOCK is a production by the same team who gave us americans SHAUN of The DEAD. This movie was a pleasant surprise , as it pits some neighborhood hoodlums against some hairy invaders from space . The heroes are first introduced into this teleplay in a way that is very unexpected ( and its deliberately planned this way), as an object falls from the sky and slams into a parked car. Whatever the object was , it held a tiny (baby doll sized ) creature that frightens the group of young men, who chase after it ....and kill it . Little do they realize (SPOILER ALERT) is that this little creature is FEMALE, and its being chased by BIGGER , Male aliens attempting to mate with it. They become aware as the creatures CRASH down into their housing project , looking for her/it... Aside from the humor , action , and pace , the movie (using a cast of relatively new kid actors),does show that there are consequences for bad decisions , and that we tend to jump to conclusions rather quickly and unfairly just because we see one side of people ...plus the leader ,looks just like Denzel Washington.......
