Halloween always reminds me of Frank Zappa . He used to do Halloween shows almost every year back in the 70s at the Palladium in New York City , and I went to a few , nothing quite like a Zappa concert . So during one of those shows I was sitting there thining Hmmmm, theres really only 2 exits for this venue , the front entrance on 14th Street , and the rear on 15th Street , and theres no way hes gonna walk out front after the show . So myself and the 3 friends I was with , we immediately went around back and sure enough his band members started exiting one at a time , then the man came out himself . What a thrill to actually meet him shake his hand , and chat briefly .
