Halloween is almost done. Im not much for holidays of any sort, too much social influence in them. I personally dont like to be told I have to give candy or put a tree up or give out easter baskets. Who made those up anyways? Jk I know the history, no need to copy and paste a link, but do I HAVE to follow them and get all stressed out and broke because everyone else is doing it? Yes, its fun for most people (go for it), but for me its just stressful and adds more than I care to do without even serving a purpose. I guess I just got to the point where I realized that the MEANING behind holidays has been removed and replaced with stuff that turns our focus on self. Im not ok with that for my family. So, 726 will not be giving candy tonight, my kids arent dressing up, and were not watching all the stuff on tv that causes fear, even if its fun fear. Its just not my thing. Have fun and be safe tonight. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
