Halloween is fast approaching. In honor of this spooky holiday, we are peering into the depths of the Wangensteen Historical Library to uncover hidden treasures. This week’s monster is known as the Hydra, an ancient Greek water beast known for its ferocious nature and multiple heads. The Hydra was also thought to have both poisonous breath and blood making it a fatal creature. You may remember seeing this creature in Disney’s version of Hercules.
