Halloween is the beginning of the holiday season - we go from goblins to gobblers to gifts galore. These days can be difficult for FOCUS families: some of our kiddos cant eat candy or participate in trick or treating; some cant manage long trips to visit family; some cant be in a crowded, overstimulating celebration, not to mention the germs lurking around looking for a place to land! No pity party here - we press forward, helping our kids do what they can, celebrating their abilities, modifying activities. But sometimes you just have to acknowledge the grief as you once again adjust dreams and hopes while living real life. But, to lighten up the post......guess what day it is??
