Halloween music, masks, and many books are what my little class; and I, enjoyed in class today! The BIG day is now 2 1/2 days away! But the Halloween fun has already begun! Oh, how I missed these joyful and and exciting preschool occasions from many years ago when I taught preschool! Children naturally live in the moment. I love that! I truly did love being an elementary and middle school classroom teacher. But I always yearned to own my own preschool and kindergarten because there truly is nothing like seeing and participating in the pure and innocent joy and love of life that young children express. Oh, how exciting it is to them, their parents, and me knowing the big day is almost here that will be full of fun, treats, music, joy, celebrating, laughter, and the making of wonderful childhood memories! I LOVE WHAT I DO! I just wish so much that I would have done this years ago. I will always be grateful to the person who made me finally live my dream. I will always be grateful! I still yearn to move my school to a building, but having my class meet at my home, and then go to classes at the Warrick County and Vanderburgh Country libraries is still in line with our mission, as the instructors almost all have masters degrees; and a bachelors at the very least. The facilities and classes state-of-the-art, too. In time we will find the right place.
