Hallå everybody :) my names Thomas, originally from France – Ive been living in Sweden for about a year and would like to share a great tip thatll make you enjoy your stay even more! If your home currency is one of the following: EUR/GBP/USD/AUD/JPY/CAD/CHF/TRY/HUF/RON (even a few others) … then you could save between 200-350kr every time youre transferring your rent to your housing organisation/your private landlord. Im the official TransferWise ambassador in Sweden, based in Gothenburg – as my foreign friends here have already started benefiting from the service, I see no reason why you should be kept in the dark any longer. You can now start waving bye bye to hefty bank fees for good :) ! OBS: I know theres always a lot of confusion regarding SEPA transfers and other bank-specific options. The fact is, however, that banks cannot yet compete with TransferWises unique infrastructure, briefly presented in the video link above.
