Hamdan: Dubai International Sports conference provides opportunity to develop Football ( Sports 📅 28-12-2014 ) Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed the participants in the ninth edition of the two-day Dubai International Sports Conference that will open on Sunday in the new setting of the Atlantis The Palm Hotel under title Toward Smart Football. The conference attracts European football icons and Michel Platini, the UEFA president will deliver the opening speech. The conference will discuss the EU’s vision for the future of football. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed welcomed all participants to the 9th Dubai International Sports Conference, aiming to develop football by exchanging ideas and reviewing the most successful global experiences in the industry. Sheikh Hamdan added: “Since the inception of Dubai Sport Council, we are keen to develop the entire sport sector by launching several programs and initiatives. The Dubai International Sports Conference invites international expertise to share their successful experiences and look into the best ways to positively impact the performance of our sport organizations and clubs. We are looking for the best approach to develop professionalism in the UAE and the entire region”.
