Hamilton City Ballets Dance for Parkinsons is delighted to announce a research collaboration with researchers from McMaster University. Under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Woolhouse, students Stephanie Williams, Ashley General and Shuying Zheng have created technology-based dance activities modeled on Hamilton City Ballets Dance for Parkinson’s classes. Heres a look into the recording session for the activity system. The dancers and musicians are those from Hamilton City Ballets Dance for Parkinsons. We filmed professional dancers Melania Pawliw and Max Ratevosian, founders of Hamilton City Ballet. We recorded accompanying music performed by flautist Mate Szigeti and violinist Anita Hiripi. Colin Czerneda filmed, recorded, and photographed this session. — at McMaster University Visit Dance Technology for People with Parkinsons to learn about this exciting project!
