Hamish had another lumbar puncture this morning and I had a good chat with his consultant, Mary Morgan! She is top class in her field and has just been amazing! She was saying Hamish has a good 80% chance of survival rate.....to hear it wasnt 100% puts a certain amount of unease through you, and although nothing can be guaranteed, she doesnt have a crystal ball! Clearly the other 20% is something we dont even consider and isnt an option as far as were concerned, but its the fact the brain registers the 80% and not 100%!
