Hammamet Meeting (Tunisia) to Combat Islam ================================================ The foreign ministers of Libyas neighbouring countries, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Chad, Niger and Sudan, will gather tomorrow (Sunday 13/7/14) in the Tunisian city of Hammamet. They will be joined by Nabil al-Arabi Secretary, General of the League of Arab States, and Nasser al-Qudwa, the Arab special envoy to Libya and the African Unions Peace and Security Commissioner Ismael Chergui. This meeting is being held to devise and coordinate the policies aimed at confronting the Islamic tendency in the countries neighbouring Libya by exploiting the blazing Libyan situation between the champions of secularism and the civil state and the Islamically-inclined armed groups, which lack the political vision for the future of the political process. This proves that the West is exploiting what is referred to as terrorism in Libya and the region in order to besiege the remnants of the popular rebellion that has deviated from the scope of the Arab Spring, and to impose a host of policies to prevent the accession of Islam to power and at the same time, encourage the Islamic movements to partake in the democratic political process, just like al-Nahda Movement has done. Hence, the meeting of the foreign ministers in Tunisia aims at devising a stance vis-à-vis the Islamic movements that have remained baffled or hostage to previous stances, especially in Egypt, Libya and Algeria. This undertaking reflects the extent of the Wests fears of the artificial political impetus turning into a genuine popular movement that would threaten the Western interests, especially in Egypt and Algeria, since they would pose a threat to the influence and the interests of the West should they break free from the American hegemony. This also explains why the popular dynamism in Syria has been downgraded and the struggle perpetuated and turned into a curse on the Muslims and source of disunity and fragmentation. During an interview with the London-based Al-Arab newspaper, the Tunisian foreign minister touched on the issue of the Khilafah state al-Baghdadi had declared and described it as a new challenge to the region, which is suffering from the ills of terrorism in the first place. His statement coincided with the Tunisian governments endeavour to combat the notion of al- Khilafah in Tunisia and its attempt to ban Hizb-ut-Tahrir which has been calling for its establishment. It also coincided with the Libyan authorities endeavour to up the ante against the Islamic organisations in order to tear society apart on tribal and ideological grounds. This indicates that a crackdown against the propagators of al-Khilafah in Tunisia is in the offing; they may also be lured into the political process. Hence, the sincere and cognisant children of the Ummah should multiply their efforts to thwart the schemes of the West by snubbing its puppets and the collaborators calling for concord, power alternation and referral to man-made constitutions. Every Muslim is capable of snubbing the criminal authorities and urge others to disincline as well; every Muslim is capable of snubbing all those who collaborate with the authorities from among the political figures, parties, organisations and the Islamic, nationalist and secular groups. No-one has any excuse before Allah (swt) if they were to partake in the political process in his or her country, because it is the construct of an evil colonial conspiracy aimed at aborting Islam, confining it to the rituals, and turning religion into priestly rites which have nothing to do with Islam.
