Hand down the greatest case study for anyone in the services industry is KOLACHI! No Bank, No Telco and no restaurant/hotel can even come close to the Service Kolachi offers! The only place in Pakistan where over 500 people are in the waiting area at any given time yet no waiter or floor manager will be lurking round ur table with your bill to get u going. From the waiters to the floor manager all are so deeply concerned about Service delivery that one may feel that there is probably a death squad waiting to shoot them God forbid a customer complains. One place where the floor manager is ever willing to pass on free food to the customers at even the slightest discomfort….. something even as small as “I dint get my spoon on time”! Bang! Free Kulfi & Coffee for the entire table!!! If that was not enough even when ur exiting the place there is a guy standing at the gate taking feedback on guess what……SERVICE! I will not write about their food, cuz that’s kinda relative in most cases; but with service like that for the first time in my life I can give food a back seat (also because the food aint bad there :P ). I will urge everyone in the Service sector to visit and study this place in detail to understand why large corporations are failing at service delivery while a sea front karahi wala is setting a bench mark in the same!
