Hands Off Cde Matthews Phosa : (ANCYL Mpumalanga should respect the values of ANC) By Mj wa Azania Maybe we should remind some fellow ANCYL Cdes from Mpumalanga that the commitment they are planning to take is not political and will never assist the unity we are trying to forge within the scattered African National Congress. There is a need for politics 101 here, Matthews Phosas views within the ANC will always be considered and objectively evaluated. You are not defending the ANC when you march against Cde Phosa, let alone showing discipline within the ANC,in fact you are degenerating the ANC and expose its weak future leaders. I dont think even Cde Gwede Mantashe can celebrate such unfortunate thoughts of crippled outcome. DD Mabuza is not a God of ANC and his personal commitment should not be confused with the image of the ANC, let alone using the name of the organization to protect him. When comrade Fikile Mbalula wrote an open letter to Former President Thabo Mbeki who agreed to march against him calling him all sorts of names? We must not reduce the name of the organization to personal battles that seek to economical empower us. You can expell Matthews Phosa and isolate him from the ANC but his ideas will always worthy to be considered and be heard. Civic journalism always encourage us that the Media and people shall work together to find solutions within the community in regard to poverty, corruption and challenges. ANCYL Mpumalanga need to be advised well on their conduct, they are not reflecting the real young people of the movement. Cde Sipho Wako Gqibelo Mahlangu must get it well he has a role to unite ANCYL comrades and instill discipline as part of preparing the future leadership of the ANC. We cant be growing within the ANC divided and we are claiming to be going to lead the ANC in unity. We must just become a youth desk if our role is to take subjectively commands from the ANC. We will never run ANC and the Country if we are scared of ideas and challenge. What is it that makes DD Mabuza s better leader that the ANCYL in Mpumalanga can use the name of the organization to protect him. Lets try to use the values of the ANC to grow to a better future leaders not using common sense to lead. Cde Matthews Phosa must be treated with respect and equal given the same treatment that the current members of the ANC are receiving, he is not a reject but a leader of the ANC of all times.
