Hands down the scariest moment in my life!! I was cleaning Noahs room and found a broken up can top thing .. first thought was OMG Noah put it in his mouth (Im forever telling him to get things out of his mouth!) So I called Maddi in (just gave her a bath and was having her sleep in our room bc shes got the tummy bug ) and asked her what it was. Her response oh! I was chewing on that earlier ..... I legit fumbled around to find all pieces and freaked out asking if she swallowed any etc. I pieced it together sat her down and explained that our bodies are not meant to hve metals lodged inside our stomachs. When she asked what I meant I had to tell her about the little kindergartner who swallowed a paper clip on his bus and was too scared to get in trouble so he didnt tell the bus driver and had died before he got home, and the little baby who picked up a screw in the middle of the night swallowed it and his mommy found him passed away when she went to wake him up the next morning. I was in absolute hysteric tears telling her this and told her that she and Noah are the only babies I will ever have and even if they werent I have loved them with every fiber of myself since I felt their first wee kicks in my belly ... and for years I fought to keep her safe with me and would absolutely lose my mind with sheer heart broken depression if ANYTHING ever happened to either one of my babies. I PRAY she understands Im watching them bth sleep now and cant stop crying. Being a mom is so gratifying and so insanely terrifying at the same time. I try so hard to keep them safe and I just put it in Gods hands that He keeps them safe from any and all harm. Oh that freaked me out so bad!!!!!
