Hands up if you really want to make bread, and have tried on many occasion, but failed! ive made many house bricks! ;) I find its very confusing! but! the hardest part is finding a place thats warm enuf to prove it! Im not posh enuf to have a proving draw, like they do on The Great British Bake Off! So I tried making some yesterday, DH said it tasted fine! (He would eat worms if they were sprinkled with sugar) so today I tried again, I found the airing cupboard just isnt warm enuf! so I had an Idea! mmmm I have one of those wheat corn pillow things! you know, you warm it in the microwave and put it on your aching neck, works wonders. Well I warmed it for 3 mins, left it in the m/wave then put the bread in there too :D and guess what! it works :D This is the recipe i used, and i added 2 teas of cinnamon and 1 teas of mixed spice. allotment-garden.org/recipe/326/currant-bread-recipe/
