Hands up, whos kids are at home for the summer holidays now? My boy finished on Friday and we celebrated this, and his super school report, by spending a hot and sticky day at the Farnborough air show; hes astro and aeronautically obsessed so this was like all his birthdays and Christmases come at once! :D I won’t be particularly active here for the next few weeks because Luke and I will once again be joined at the hip and he doesnt find me working on the laptop or sewing things particularly stimulating - go figure?! - any time I try to sneak a bit in he does that Im-going-to-mither-you-until-you-entertain-me song and dance that most parents will be familiar with...and because we LOVE the little blighters more than our own lives we usually hop to it...even when we are REALLY tired and would rather be reading, sleeping or floating in a sensory deprivation tank blissfully free from chatter ;) This morning we are debating the merits of a trip to the library, the pool or the park in order to collect rocks to paint later :) Whats in store for you lot? Do you have any fun ideas for entertaining tiny humans?
