Handt Hanson COMMAND AND SIGNAL FRIDAY, JULY 12 | LUKE 10:16 Command and Signal: Jesus will be present with us through the Holy Spirit, and this is how we will stay connected. The presence of Jesus through the Holy Spirit calls us and commissions us go and do ministry at the risk of personal danger and hardship. We may be rejected and hated by those we’re trying to love. Others may discriminate against us for being a Christian and living it. Yet, we will embrace this mission and embrace the life of Jesus. We live in the daily tension of doing what we want to do and doing what Jesus would have us do. This week, let’s do this: See the world around you as a field ripe for harvest and proclaim peace, heal the sick, eat and drink whatever is set before you, and proclaim the Kingdom of God.
