Handwriting help for your child!!! Does your child hate to write? Does he/she have trouble placing words on the lines? Is spacing wrong or inconsistent? Do sentences look like one long word? Is writing pressure too hard or too light? Does your child have trouble grasping the pencil? Does he/she lay down or have difficulty maintaining posture during homework? Getting It Write can help! This specialized group program led by an occupational therapist (OT) breaks down the complex underlying components of handwriting into 6-one hour sessions. Children will participate with fun, movement based activities that will help them develop the fine motor, gross motor, visual motor and sensory-motor skills required for handwriting success.
