Hang Muscle Snatch: This is yet another weapon in my weightlifting arsenal. How many people make contact with the bar and throw it forward with their hips, only having to jump forward in an attempt to catch it? The idea is to pull and push the barbell rather than try to flip it up in one motion. Youre not trying to do a front raise when you are snatching. You are trying to pull YOUR BODY under the barbell! Keep the bar close, pull under and punch up on it. Try these hang muscle snatches when you want a little technique work or even a shoulder workout.
