Hang on kids, this is a long one... What I am Thankful For: An Essay By Me. Its hard to be thankful when your kid rudely awakens you at 2 am. But she did, and I am. Im thankful for booze. No, just kidding. Well, not entirely kidding. This last 12 months has been, yet again, one for the books. Bill : The Captain to my Tenille, the peanut butter to my jelly, the peas to my carrots...I am most thankful for you. You trudge through the warzone we call our daily lives by my side with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. My kids...well, you keep it interesting. I love you guys. Even the twenty year old. Oops, both of them. Even if we are getting booted off our car insurance because neither of you can drive. My parents...you rearranged your lives for me. There just arent words enough to express my gratitude. My friends...dear friends. You share in my highs and are there for the lows. I love you guys. I could tag you all, but the list is too long. You guys are like a good bra. Pretty to look at and full of support. The total package. My coworkers...some of you have the power to bust my chops all day if you want to. I respect that. You guys make it a lot easier to go to the salt mines everyday and leave with a smile. Just like our families, we often cannot pick coworkers. Im pretty lucky. You guys arent so bad. Thanks for everything. My sibling and cousins (and your spouses)...you guys know everything about me and still let me walk amongst the general population. I love all of you more than you know. Im a day late with this list. Thats just how I roll. For those who have already celebrated, I hope it was all you anticipated. For all who will this weekend, enjoy. I know I will.
