Hannah Nungari is a Global Give Back Circle scholar. Her poor eyesight makes it difficult for her to move around and read. However, through funding from the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), she received a scholarship to attend University of Nairobi and graduated with honors in Bachelor of Arts in Human Social Sciences. As part of this assistance, scholars are required to give back to their communities. Hannah volunteers in a local health centre and MCAs office in Karori-Kiambu County. The Global Give Back Circle reached more than 600 beneficiaries, including more than 580 girls and 27 boys with scholarship and mentorship.
